A mass shooting took place in Baltimore in which two girls were killed and many minors were injured. The victims of the mass shooting have been identified as Aaliyah Gonzales and Kylis Fagbemi. Aaliyah Gonzales has reportedly just graduated from high school. A brutal mass shooting at a block party in Baltimore shocked the entire United States on Sunday night when the incident occurred. Who were Kylis Fagbemi and Aaliyah Gonzales?

According to authorities, Baltimore police officers responded to the scene of the shooting around 12:35 a.m. after receiving multiple calls about a shooting in the 800 block of Gretna Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a woman dead and multiple other wounded with gunshot wounds. The girl, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has been identified as Aaliyah Gonzales. She was 18 years old. While another 20-year-old identified as Kylis Fagbemi was pronounced dead at hospital. She succumbed to a fatal gunshot wound. Authorities also confirmed that another 28 people between the ages of 13 and 32 were seriously injured in the shooting. Fifteen victims are under 15 years of age. Baltimore police treated all the victims of the mass shooting at area hospitals. Acting Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said during a news conference Sunday afternoon that dozens were injured after a mass shooting at a Baltimore block party and that at least two suspects opened fire. He went on to say: “All we know at this point is that we had multiple (shooters) open fire on a large crowd of people outside during a block party. We don’t know if they were attacked or if (the shooters) just fired indiscriminately down the street.”

After the tragic incident, mother Aaliyah Gonzales posted a series of photos of her on social media “MY BABY!!! The worst day of my life! I can’t live without it, I NEED IT!! Why would they do that to a perfect angel? I love you so much baby. I didn’t get there fast enough. God, this is a mistake!!! Please!!” An investigation has begun and authorities are seeking information from the people who witnessed the mass shooting.
