BARGAIN Hunt star Charles Hanson is set to stand trial accused of assault and battery on his wife.
The TV auctioneer, 45, was charged with a total of seven offenses after police were called to his £1.5m family home in June.

Hanson, who also appears on Flog It! and Antiques Road Trip, appeared at Derby Crown Court.
He pleaded not guilty to controlling or coercive behavior which “on two occasions caused his wife Rebecca to fear violence”.
The TV star also denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of assault by beating.
The allegations allegedly took place against wife Rebecca between 2015 and June 2023.
Hanson was released on bail on the condition that he not go to the family home or contact his wife.
The preliminary trial, which will last five days, is scheduled for February 10, 2025.
The star, who first appeared on Bargain Hunt in 2002, was charged on December 14.
Police were called to his six-bedroom home in the picturesque Derbyshire village in the summer.
It is known that Hanson has since moved out of the house he shared with Rebecca (40) since 2014.
Hanson’s career began in the ceramics and glass department at Christie’s in 1999.

In 2002, he became the youngest expert in the Bargain Hunt team at the age of 25.
In a previous statement, Hanson denied the allegations and said he would “cooperate fully with the investigation and the legal process.”
