Thomas Tom Pestock, aka Baron Corbin, was born in Lenexa, Kansas on September 13, 1984. He is currently 39 years old. He was born to his mother Mona Pestock and father Steven Pestock. Career
In college, Baron Corbin was an offensive guard for the NCAA Division II Bearcats. In 2007, he was named to the starting lineup during his junior year. In 2007, he was named an All-MIAA honorable mention. In 2008, he was named to the All-MIAA First Team. Additionally, he went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft. In April 2009, he signed a contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
In January 2010, he signed a forward contract with the Arizona Cardinals. And they released him in September 2011 without even playing a game for them. In August 2012, he began working in WWE’s developmental system NXT. During this time he adopted the ring name Baron Corbin. He debuted in the ring on October 18 at a house show. He faced Dante Dash in a losing match.
On May 8, 2014, he appeared in his last televised match. Finally, he returned in September 2014 at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-Way. Eventually he started winning more matches. At an NXT show in January 2015, he ended Bull Dempsey’s undefeated streak. As a result, Adrian Neville ended his undefeated streak in the semifinals of the NXT Championship. He also had a memorable short-lived feud with Samoa Joe in 2015. On April 13, 2016, he won his final NXT match against Tucker Knight.
