Livewoman Jo Coburn will leave the BBC after 28 years on the emitter.
The journalist presented the BBC daily policy in weekdays – since it was launched in 2018.

The Coburn, who joined the BBC in 1997 as a journalist covering Westminster, said: “What a privilege to be in the hot seat of the daily policy, and then a live policy that covers the turbulent events in the last decade or something.
“It’s time to move on and hand over to someone else, but I loved it all, especially the people I worked with and hundreds of guests who held me every day at a studio company.”
She will leave the BBC at the end of May with a new presenter announced in due course.
Hilary O’Neill, an executive editor of politics on the BBC, said: “He has shaped live policy in the program. Today, spectators adapt to knowing that they will be expertly guided through the greatest political stories, while making them accessible and fun.
“Jo is a forensic interlocutor and an engaged presenter who relies on her deep knowledge of politics to cause ministers about questions that are most important to the public.
“The audience and her colleagues will miss her very much.”
Coburn has previously introduced the daily BBC Two policy policy to Andrew Neil, before taking over the leading role of a guide for Live’s policy when he replaced his daily politics.
It appeared on the BBC Radio 4’s Today Program, six and ten Bilten and BBC News Channel.
During her BBC career, she anchored the live coverage of six chancellors, included eight general choices and hosted a special offer overnight.
