Actor Warwick Davis broke into tears as he paid tribute to his late wife during the talk of accepting Baftas.
The Harry Potter star, 55, was overwhelmed while he entered the stage to thank many people – most importantly his late wife Samantha, who was his number one fan since they met in 1988.

In April 2024. Warwick announced the sad news that his “favorite man” died at the age of 53.
During the star ceremony on Sunday night, Warwick received the Baftas Fellowship Award, the biggest honor of the ceremony.
Accepting the award on stage, he joked, “This is the best thing that ever happened to me and I was in the wars of the stars.”
But Star Wars actor struggled to return tears because he admitted that “life was pretty difficult” since Samantha passed away last year.

Warwick told the audience, “I would like to thank my incredible team, my agent and everyone who supported me during my career.
“This award is not just for me, that’s for all of you … hang for a minute, I did all the job, that’s for me.”
He continued to praise his late wife because he always supported him throughout his career.
The star split: “Above all I want to devote myself to and thank my beautiful wife, Sammy, who died almost a year ago.
“She was always so supported by my career, encouraging me to use both hands of both hands, however, I soon noticed that her level of enthusiasm was because I took on a certain role in relation to how much she wanted that new design bag.

“Since then, life has been quite difficult for me, but thanks to the support of our beautiful children Annabelle and Harrison, I was able to continue working and dealing with life.”
A room filled with an applause for Warwick, who thanked the audience.
The star continued: “Special mention should go to Sponge, you know who you are, thank you for showing me that life can still make sense and help me laugh and love again,” Warwick said as he broke in tears in tears in tears on stage.
He added, “And one last thought, anyone dreamed of telling your story there, going to it, the world needs your vision.”
Last April, Warwick shared an emotional statement because the star Harry Potter said that his “favorite man” passed away on March 24.
The couple met on the set of Willow in 1988 and got married three years later.
The devastated Warwick, 54, said, “Her passage left a huge hole in our life as a family. I miss hugs.”
Said the BBC: “She was a unique character, she always saw the sunny side of life.
“She had an evil sense of humor and always laughed at my bad jokes.
“Without Sammy, there would be no show about a quiz for a tenname quiz, without a series Willow. No idiots abroad series 3.”
Warwick said Samantha was his “the most loyal commissioner and a fervent advocate of everything I did in my career.”
Children of Para, Harrison and Annabelle, added: “Mom is our best friend and we are honored to have loved love like hers.
“Her love and happiness carried us throughout our lives.”
Samantha was best known for his roles through the dragon’s eyes, short sausages.
Her father Peter, the addition of Willow, later became Warwick’s business partner.
Samantha had ahondroplasia, a bone growth disorder that causes a disproportionate dwarf.
Warwick had previously opened up about his wife’s health after being transported to a hospital with Seps in 2018.
The actor told the sun that her health had dramatically declined ahead of the family holiday caravan.
Talking about horror a few years later, he said: “For the next few hours they were the longest in my life as I waited in a ward with our children in an empty space that the Samini Hospital Bed left.
“I was hoping that this would not symbolize the future without her.”
Sam had numerous operations for his condition.
She is thought to have contracted sepsis after surgery of decompression on her spine.
