Ben Affleck discusses his plans for a Deathstroke villain in the canceled Batman movie. With the DCEU coming to an end, Affleck returns as the Dark Knight for the last time speed Movie. Although Affleck has never been in one of his own films, the actor has been talking more about canceled movies lately. Batman Movie.At this year’s SnyderCon (via direct,) Affleck attended a Full Circle event with Zack Snyder where he was asked about him by a fan Batman project. The question was specifically about how Affleck thought about using Slade Wilson, aka Stroke, and he shared the following:
I am exploring some of them. Also, the plan is to create interesting, sophisticated, complex characters, especially the ones you mentioned. I think either you – I’m just delving into my own preferences here – but either you create a villain so powerful that you can’t imagine your main character will be able to pull through. how is it. Or you have to really put in some sort of, you know, League of Injustice — these big villains — where you have to have all these different characters.
So I really tried to hone in and focus on that character, get to the bottom of it and make him look as impressive as I felt I had a chance to do. This is the only detail I can tell you. He’s a great villain because – I just have an instinctive feeling that he would be a worthy opponent for him. You know, I’m a big fan of this character too, especially the way they did Deathstroke in New 52, I thought it could work.

when affleck was originally set to direct Batmanwhich he co-wrote with Geoff Johns. The movie is supposed to take place in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and maybe Alliance justice Later. The script draws some inspiration from many Arkham refugee comics, as the story will mainly take place in notorious organizations. Batman Will explore the complex dynamic between Joe Manganiello’s Deathstroke and Affleck’s Bruce Wayne.
According to Manganiello, Deathstroke holds a grudge against Batman because he believes Gotham Vigilante is responsible for his son’s death. Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, could also be a central character, although it has never been confirmed who will play her. Batman script, the film will also expand after Robin’s death. Characters like Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons) and James Gordon (JK Simmons) are expected to appear in the series. Batman Before Affleck left the project.
