Ben Feigin, producer of Schitt’s Creek, died on October 24, 2022 at the age of 47. Additionally, he was the founder and CEO of Equation Unlimited, LLC. His former workplace, United Talent Agency, where his wife now works, revealed the news. Feigin is known for participating in worldwide permit applications for Schitt’s Creek. He also participated in the filming of the documentary Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A farewell fan of Schitt’s Creek. Ben’s funeral will be held at Mount Sinai Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Donations can be made to the Cancer Foundation in his honor.

Ben Feigin died of pancreatic cancer, although the extent of his disease is unknown. Meanwhile, it is not yet known whether Ben died at the hospital or at home, and details are awaited. Ben Feigin was born in the 1980s in Silver Spring, Maryland. He went to work at Warner Bros. after graduating from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He oversaw several divisions of Warner Bros.’ most successful series, including Friends, The West Wing and ER. After leaving William Morris, he went on to work for UTA, The Collective and Amblin Entertainment, where he met Heidi, who later became his wife. During his active years, Ben Feigin has also taught seminars at the University of California, Los Angeles, New York University, and UCSB, and continues his philanthropic work by donating to StandUp2Cancer, Gilda’s Club World-Wide, Tony Hawk Foundation, Creative Collection, and others.
He rose to fame as the executive producer of Schitt’s Creek, a CBC comedy that aired from January 13, 2015 to April 7, 2020.
