Benjamin Millepied began his career as a soloist in 1998, and in 2002, he was appointed director of the New York City Ballet. Benjamin founded the LA Dance Project from 2001 to 2004. He also choreographed the movie ‘Black Swan’ in 2010. He has ‘Jerome Robbins as a choreographer. He starred in Jerome Robbins’ debut production ‘2 and 3 Parts Invention’.
Benjamin is also the initiator and director of the 2011 ‘LA Dance Project’ at the Los Angeles Music Center. Meanwhile, in 2011 the initiative developed a full-time residence with the aim of showcasing new works across the city. The Walt Disney Concert Hall hosted the first performance of the project in 2012. In 2012, the choreographer founded ‘The Amoveo Firm’, a multimedia production company.
