Facts/Trivia

I remember the first time I met Ekta Kapoor and Kapil Ji (directors), I was 16 and went to meet them in a beautiful dress. There was no audition, nothing, they just called me and told me to play this role. Later, I came to know that they had in mind this character, a girl with a petite figure but who behaves like a brother. Her attitude made her a brother, not her personality. I don’t know what made them choose me, but when I started acting, I didn’t know what to do.”

To be honest, I never thought of becoming an actor. But I did a few children’s plays in school because my mother wanted me to open up because I was a shy child. The short play was directed by Homi Vardy, who later directed Ekta (Kapoor)’s Mano Ya Na Mano, in which I acted in an episode.
