Bhumika Bahl was born in 1993 in Faridabad, Haryana (age 30 in 2023). She attended Delhi Public School, Faridabad. She studied Bachelor of Commerce from Kamala Nehru College, Delhi. Later, she pursued M.Com from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). She received her Bachelor of Education degree from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University, Rohtak, Haryana in 2019. She has wanted to be a makeup artist since she was a child. She quit her job as a senior financial auditor at Ernst & Young to pursue a career as a makeup artist. She saved money by taking a one-year English speaking course so she could continue studying to be a beautician. Later, she took various makeup courses in her state and attended various workshops conducted by some international makeup artists. Initially, she started making makeup transformation videos on TikTok and her videos started getting a lot of views. However, after TikTok was banned in India in June 2020, she started making makeup tutorial videos on Instagram. Soon, she started hosting online makeup classes and workshops. As of 2023, she runs her own academy in Faridabad and provides online makeup courses to Indian and foreign students.
