The story of Bill’s life began in Rochester, NY, where he was born, but later moved with his family to Maryland at the age of 13. He continued his higher education at West Virginia University and became a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, following in the footsteps of his younger brother Derek.
In 2019, Bill embarked on a remarkable journey by co-founding HereNow Help, Inc. Alongside family and friends, he aimed to provide timely mental health support to those who needed it, inspired by his own struggles with addiction. Tragically, just one week after founding the company, Bill lost his brother Derek to fentanyl poisoning, which only strengthened his determination to make a difference. Working tirelessly with the HereNow Help family, Bill made his vision a reality.
Services to celebrate Bill’s life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, located at 2576 Browncroft Blvd, Rochester, NY 14625, beginning at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 29th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be directed to HereNow Help , Inc., at 5638 E. Lake Rd, Honeoye, NY 14471. These contributions will be used to create a non-profit foundation in Bill’s memory, dedicated to supporting individuals in need for mental health but face financial constraints.
