Billie Eilish Says She Was 'Ghosted' by Someone She'd 'Known for Years': 'It Was Insane'

Even Billie Eilish has dating horror stories.

As he speaks on the latest episode of the BBC podcast You miss me?Eilish, 22, told hosts Lily Allen and Miquita Oliver she was “definitely a ghost”.

“I had a crazy apparition this December. It was crazy,” said Eilish — who has had low-key romances over the years with rapper Brandon “Q” Adams, actor Matthew Tyler Vorce and The Neighborhood frontman Jesse Rutherford.

“Probably the craziest thing that’s ever happened to me,” “What am I made for?” the hitmaker told Allen (39) and Oliver (40).

“I thought, ‘Did you die? Did you literally die?’ Eilish joked, adding: “It was someone I’d known for years too and he had a plan, a day, on the phone, making a plan, this is my address, to be there at 3 – I never heard from him again. Ever. I couldn’t believe it.”

“I was like, ‘What a fucking pathetic little man. What a tiny little man,'” the Oscar-winning singer continued, sharing, “It was literally unbelievable. To this day, she’s never texted me back.”

“I saw that she was dating someone,” Eilish told the hosts. “And I said, ‘Oh.’ I didn’t know people still did that. I really didn’t know people did that.”

Eileen’s comments come after she said Rolling stone in an unpublished excerpt from her recent cover story that she is still on friendly terms with her rocker ex-boyfriend Rutherford, 32.

“That’s my guy, truly one of my favorite people in the world,” she told the newspaper.

Eilish’s rep confirmed to PEOPLE her divorce from Rutherford in May 2023. The exes, who were last seen together at Coachella in April 2023, had been dating for less than a year before announcing their split.

In her Rolling stone interview, Eilish joked that she never wants to be in a relationship again. “I plan to never date again,” she said.

“That is obviously not true. But no, I’m not serious with anyone until I find someone who really suits me, and I’m not interested in that at the moment,” added Eilish.

In the candid interview, Eilish also opened up about coming to terms with her sexuality and why she initially planned to keep that part of her life private.

As they discussed her sexual nature Hit me hard and soft album track “Lunch,” Eilish said, “That song was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real,” adding, “I wrote some of it before I did anything with a girl , and then I wrote the rest after.”

“I’ve been in love with girls all my life, but I just didn’t get it – until last year I realized I wanted my face in my vagina,” she continued.
