Billy Crystal says there is a moment from When Harry met Sally That his fans have quoted lately – and no, that’s not obvious.
Katz’s deli scene to remember the movie probably contains his most famous line: “I’ll have what he has.” In fact, Crystal and Costar Meg Ryan even recreated the iconic Rom-com moment for their new Hellmann Super Bowl ad.
But the actor says that he also gets a “mouth of fish”, a meaningless phrase that Bruno Kirby provided as Harry’s friend Jess, during the 1989 Pictionary game.
“There is a T -shirt,” says Crystal, 76, People. “Remember the nation. Yes, I hear them talking.”
He says he “never surprised” when she hears “I will have what she has,” except who could say that.
“I went through this when I was on Saturday night live And people said, “You look wonderful” a lot, which was a big deal then, “he remembers, referring to his impressions of Fernando Lamas in the late -night show.

He adds that his reaction to keeping these phrases usually depends on “whether it is the right time or not.”
“If it’s hard for me or for a moment and I don’t want to be upset,” he says. “If it’s in a restaurant, I’m in a discussion or someone will touch you on your shoulder and leave,” I’ll have what you have. “It’s like, not now, not now. I appreciate it, but please not now.”
Ryan says he enjoys listening to such a quoted line, originally delivered by the mother of director Robo Reiner, Estelle.
“When people want to have what I have and the wink I get from foreigners, it’s just so sweet,” says the actress, 63. “It’s just so sweet that there is that affection for that scene.”

In the original scene, Harry says she does not believe that no woman he slept with has ever fallen an orgasm, and Sally continues to offer a convincing demonstration in the middle of a restaurant. “I’ll have what she has,” Deadpans is a colleague of Trpezar.
In their new advertisement Hellmann’s, the couple re -uniting the movie titles in New York City Deli, where Harry says Sally, “I can’t believe they let us go to this place.”
“Why?” Sally asks, which he replies, “Hi …” “No one remembers that,” Sally insists.
The duo bites in their sandwiches, but Sally admits he “does not do it.”
She squeezes Hellmann’s mayonnaise on her rye bread and expresses her approval by repeating her famous performance. “This one is real,” Billy notes. Actress Sydney Sweeney make Cameo to say, “I’ll have what she has.”
Ryan says she felt love for the scene while filming a commercial in Katz’s in December.
“There were so many people there and everyone jokingly,” she says. “And we all wanted to be jokingly, accessories. And you just could feel the affection that this grew up with people and it just felt nice.”
