Bindi Irwin Posts Sweet Family Pic with Husband Chandler Powell and Daughter Grace: ‘My. Entire. World’

For Bindi Irwin, family is everything.

The conservationist, 25, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a post dedicated to her “world” – her husband Chandler Powell and two-year-old daughter Grace Warrior.

The family snapped a cute selfie at Australia Zoo — where Irwin and Powell, also 25, both work — with one of the zoo’s pups, Piggy.

Irwin also shared a smiling mother-daughter photo with her mini-jan.

“My. Whole. World. ❤️,” Irwin captioned the photos.

Powell showed his wife some love in the post, commenting: “The cutest girls. ❤️ You are OUR whole world.”

While speaking with PEOPLE exclusively for its August 2023 cover story, Irwin opened up about how grateful she feels to have her daughter.

“For us personally, we feel so lucky to have Grace,” Irwin told PEOPLE. “I think every day I wake up and look at our beautiful daughter and I think she’s our tiny little miracle and it makes me cry because we were so, so lucky to have her.”

She continued: “And there was every chance that we wouldn’t be able to have a little one, so we have our beautiful little girl, we’re so happy. And I wish more people would stop before they ask, ‘Why don’t you have more kids?'”

Irwin said it can be “heartbreaking” to answer that question given her battle with endometriosis.

“I feel like it’s a universal question for women, it’s heartbreaking because you never know what’s going on in someone’s life and what’s going on behind closed doors,” she explained. “And someone asks you: ‘Why don’t you have more children? It is your responsibility to have more children.’ It breaks your heart because we all have a different journey and a different story.”

After spending several years dealing with fatigue, excruciating pain and nausea, and undergoing countless tests and scans — the Animal Planet star said she was “tested for everything” — Irwin finally learned she had the reproductive condition.

During the laparoscopy, Irwin said doctors found 37 lesions and a cyst on her ovary, which she then removed with surgery.

Today, Irwin said she is still recovering but feeling much better.

“It’s not like a light switch, but every week I feel like I can do a little bit more. Now I wake up in the morning and I don’t have to take anti-nausea medication or a heat pack,” she told PEOPLE. “Being able to go for a walk with my daughter and not feel like I have to throw up in the bushes, it’s just wild.”

“I feel like I have a second chance at life,” she said, adding that she feels “brand new.”

Irwin often features her daughter – who spends a lot of time with animals, just like her mom – on her Instagram.

The conservationist celebrated Grace’s birthday by sharing several photos of the family of three with the caption: “Our TWO-YEAR-OLD girl! Happy birthday to my entire world,”

She continued, “Grace Warrior, you are the sunshine that fills our lives. I am amazed every day by your hundreds of words and smiles, your fascination with the natural world/every animal you discover, and your adventurous soul.”
