France used a colorful rendering of the Eiffel Tower in its bid to host the Paris Olympics.
But they went in a different direction for the Games’ official logo after successfully acquiring the hosting rights.
The logo features a gold background and a white lipped flame in the middle.
Officials say it represents the Olympic flame inside the gold medal and the hair and lips of Marianne, the personification of the French Republic since the 1789 revolution.
But fans have been arguing on social media about what it really looks like.
From “Tinder Gold” to “Angry Karen” to even “Rachel Green’s hair on Friends,” there were some wild suggestions.
One quipped: “The French Olympic logo is Tinder Gold.”
Another tweeted: “Is it Rachel from Friends or the Tinder logo?”

A third said, “Oh, is Tinder sponsoring the Olympics?”
Another wrote: “The French Olympic logo looks like a much, much fancier, slightly feminine version of the Tinder logo.”
One added: “It’s like the Tinder logo but in gold, for the city of love…
“Or, if you look closely, it could look like Karen looking for a manager.”
Another scoffed, saying, “Judging by the logo, Tinder will be an official sport at the 2024 Paris Olympics.”
