The user Xador3d shared a video about “A normal day in Russia”, with the caption: “Russian camouflage level”.
The video, shot from a nearby building, appears to show a white baby stroller rocking back and forth on its own.
Amid the snow-covered back garden and walkway, a baby in a stroller is sure to be fast asleep.
But who, or what, is rocking the baby in the stroller?
Some think it was a ghost, and some think it was a clever optical illusion.
Viewers of the video were incredibly confused before spotting the culprit.
One said, “What I just saw.”
Another joked: “At first I thought it was a human baby with superpowers, but then I saw it.”
Another commented: “I thought it was the wind, which is also quite realistic in Russia.”
But as the user zooms in on the video, what’s really behind the mysterious swing is revealed.
The baby’s mom is barely visible in her gray coat and boots, blending in perfectly with the gray sleet.
A viral optical illusion supposedly allows people to see changes in non-existent faces, and it can be disturbing and scary.
A seemingly innocent photograph of two faces with a cross in the middle provides an unusual mind trick.
TikTok user Hectic Nick said: “Your mind will try to combine them. While looking in the middle, the images on the sides will look really weird.”
Instead of seeing the people who were on the screen, viewers saw terrifying faces that weren’t actually there.
Commentators have reported seeing bulging eyes, elongated heads and necks, and facial features that melt or change.
