Blake Lively Highlights Composer Who Worked on It Ends with Us and Deadpool: 'My Husband and I Share More Than Children'

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds work together on screen — and behind the scenes they collaborate with the same composer!

The Gossip girl alum, 36, shared in an Instagram Stories post on Friday, Aug. 2, that he is the man behind the music for Reynolds’ recently released film Deadpool & WolverineRob Simonsen, also worked on her soon-to-be-released romantic drama It ends with us.

Sharing a list of songs that inspired her upcoming film, Lively began, “Some are songs I listened to while filming. Others are inspiration we used during editing or marketing. And others are amazing songs that made it into the movie.”

Then she marked other associates from It ends with us in a message, writing that everyone put “so much love, time and thought” into the songs that made the final version of the soundtrack, before saluting Simonsen.

“Yes, @deadpoolmovie composer. My husband and I share more than children,” she added, referring to her children with Reynolds, 47: daughters James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, and son Olin, 1.

Simonsen shared again Simple service star’s Instagram Stories on his own account, where he also added a message.

“True story ©blakelively’s taste in music is second to none,” he wrote.

“She knows who played the violin better between Johnny and the devil,” Simonsen added, referring to the song “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
