Blake Lively Puts on a Chef Jacket to Cook a ‘Euphoric’ Recipe for Daniel Boulud — Watch

Blake Lively enters the kitchen to prepare a surprise treat.

Her soda brand, Betty Booze, has announced a new partnership with Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud, known for his renowned New York restaurant DANIEL. In an Instagram video revealing the collaboration, Lively plays a chef and meticulously cooks to impress Boulud.

The It ends with us the actress, 36, can be seen working in the pristine DANIEL kitchen. Bustling around chopping cherries, pineapples and limes, melting butter in a pan and, of course, dousing her pot with a healthy shot of blanco tequila, Lively dons a neatly pressed white chef’s uniform and keeps her hair slicked back. .

After a satisfying taste test with a wooden spoon full of her fruit concoction, Lively prepares to present Boulud with her creation. Suspense grows and she lifts the silver tray to reveal a surprise: a plate full of cocktails in a can of Betty Booze.

Boulud then takes “the most euphoric sip” (as described in the press release) of the brand’s new drink, a sparkling tequila with smoked pineapple. He went through a series of beautiful memories — diving into a beautiful river, a dramatic run through a field and a wedding, among others.

The award-winning chef then stands up and hugs Lively, seemingly thanking her for the drink.

As part of their collaboration, Lively also prepared her own omakase box, Jōji Box Betty B, which will be available at JojiBox, one of Boulud’s sushi to-go restaurants in New York. The box pairs Boulud’s sushi pieces — handpicked by Lively herself — with Betty Booze’s new pineapple-flavored Smoky drink or the brand’s classic Shiso lime sparkling tequila.

And there is even more reason to celebrate this duo. Boulud’s Big Apple restaurants — Jōji Box, Épicerie’s and Blue Box Café — will now serve patrons Betty Booze and Betty Buzz.

“I’ve been keeping this news under wraps for a long time. @BettyBooze now available nationwide,” she captioned her Instagram post. “Thank you @danielboulud for making all my little cooking dreams come true. ♥️🐭🍽️♥️.”

The actress has also starred in a number of commercials for the company since then – including Simple service-inspired video, which shows her feeding a shirtless man one of the drinks in a martini glass.

“These are recipes that I have been preparing for my loved ones for years. But now I have 4 children. And I’m tired. So here they are in a can. To enjoy. Responsible… so,” Lively, who has four children with her husband Ryan Reynolds, said at the time.

“Drinking is not my thing. But gosh, the taste is,” Lively added on Instagram at the time of the launch. “Home recipes. Real fruit. The right ingredients. Quality booze. No bullshit. Also real time savings. Which is why I really did it.”
