As Blue Beetle is officially one week away from opening in theaters, early screenings have been taking place as members of the press are getting to witness the next DC adventure in advance. Get Your Comic Con added that Blue Beetle “makes a solid debut on the bigscreen,” all thanks to the cast and filmmaker, while also adding that the film was “bursting with heart and action from start to finish.”
Atabey TV praised Blue Beetle for how it “resonates with the Latino audience and embodies the culture and values of this community,” commenting that it was the right decision to have a “Puerto Rican director” helm this film.
Jane N. Nagase had “so much fun watching” Blue Beetle, bringing up how the leading stars Maridueña and Bruna Marquezine’s “chemistry is unreal.”

What The Blue Beetle Reactions Reveal About The DC Movie
What is becoming abundantly clear through these Blue Beetle reactions is that the superhero genre is definitely not dying anytime soon. While 2023 has been up and down for comic book movies, Blue Beetle shows that the audience for superhero adventures is still there, as it has been heavily discussed if these type of films have started to reach a fatigue point. But based on the early thoughts for Blue Beetle, the DC installment is fresh and exciting.
Another major aspect of Blue Beetle is that having a superhero of color at the center is still something audiences want to see today. Hollywood has slowly begun to become more inclusive, especially in the comic book genre, as there is still a hunger and desire to see more diverse superheroes. Based on a lot of these reactions, Blue Beetle is clearly becoming another great addition in that regard.
It will be interesting to see how Blue Beetle resonates with general audiences once the movie gets released in theaters.
