Pluto and Goofy will have new canine characters joining them on Disney Cruise Line next month when Bluey and the rest of the Heeler family arrive.
On December 19, Disney announced that the characters from the beloved Bluey series will be new additions to Disney Cruise Line as well as theme parks at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World.
“It’s a beautiful day for a boat ride and we’re incredibly excited to have Bluey and Bingo sailing on Disney Cruises, bringing the magic of Bluey to families on the high seas!” Ludo Studio, the Australian animation studio producing the series with the BBC, said in a press release shared with PEOPLE.

Families will see their favorite cattle dog characters on Disney Cruise Line ships departing from Australia and New Zealand in early January. Passengers will have access to “special meet and greets, an interactive game full of clues that ends with a dance party featuring Bluey’s signature dance moves,” and other activations.
More details on how guests at Disneyland and Walt Disney World can interact with their favorite furry friends will be available in the coming months.

Disney Experiences President Josh D’Amaro added that “Bluey has become a household name for families around the world” and they are excited to “watch our youngest guests and their families create memories with Bluey at our parks and on our cruises.”
The news comes just days after that Good morning America announced that the Disney+ series will hit the big screen in 2027.
Series creator Joe Brumm said in a press release issued Tuesday that he “always thought Bluey deserved a theatrical release,” adding that the film will be “an experience the whole family can enjoy together.”
Plot details remain under wraps, but the film’s voice cast will include Melanie Zanetti and David McCormack as Bluey’s mom Chilli and dad Bandit. Bluey composer Joff Bush will also create new music for the film, which will be produced by Ludo Studios from BBC Studios and the Walt Disney Company.

The animated series, which was the most-watched series globally for the platform, follows Bluey, “an adorable, tireless, blue-heel dog, who lives with his mom, dad and little sister Bingo.”
“Bluey uses his boundless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, bringing his family and the entire neighborhood into his world of fun,” reads the official synopsis.
