Bray Wyatt (1987-2023) was an American professional wrestler who participated in many wrestling promotions including WWE, NXT and FCW for more than ten years. He died of heart disease in August 2023.

Windham Lawrence Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt was born in Brooksville, Florida, USA on Saturday, May 23, 1987 (age 36 at the time of death), under the astrological sign of Gemini.

He graduated from Hernando High School in Brooksville in 2005. He was inspired by his father to become a wrestler and won the state wrestling championship in 2005 when he weighed 275 pounds (125 kilograms). He later attended the College of the Sequoias, where he also played two seasons of American football (football) as a defensive tackle and linebacker and was a second-team All-American as a sophomore offensive guard. He later received a football scholarship to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Troy University in Alabama. Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW)

On February 5, 2009, Bray Wyatt made his FCW debut against Brian Jossie. He then made his television debut on FCW in April 2009 under the ring name of Alex Rotundo, later changed to Duke Rotundo. He later started playing doubles with his brother Bo. Bray Wyatt died of a heart attack on August 24, 2023 at the age of 36. It was later revealed that he had tested positive for Covid-19, which made his bad heart condition worse. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H confirmed his passing in a tweet, and several other wrestlers, including The Rock and Mick Foley, have since expressed their condolences.
