STILL Open All Hours star Brigit Forsyth has died aged 83.
The actress died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family on Friday, her agent Mark Pemberton said.

In a statement, he paid tribute to Brigitte’s “diverse and distinguished career on stage, screen and radio”.
Her career began in 1971 when she appeared in Roald Dahl’s thriller The Night Digger.
She then played Thelma in the BBC sitcom Whatever Happened to The Likely Lads? which lasted from 1973 to 1974.
Brigit also appeared in the 80s sitcoms Tom, Dick and Harriet with Lionel Jeffries and Ian Ogilvy, before appearing in Sharon and Elsie.
Between 2013 and 2019, she joined the cast of Still Open All Hours, playing Madge opposite David Jason.
Guests have included The Bill, Doctor Who, Agatha Christie’s Poirot and Coronation Street in a career spanning five decades.
In a statement, her agent said: “She has acted in many BBC radio plays over the years and also appeared in Ed Reardon’s Radio 4 sitcom The Week.
“A talented musician, Brigit played the cello, sang and composed.
“In later years he played with several bands including The Fircones.”
Brigit Forsyth was born in Edinburgh in 1940 and married the legendary Corrie director Brian Mills in 1975, they separated in 1999.
She is survived by three children.
