Before the celebration, the Chiefs defeated the Bengals by a final score of 25-17, despite a rough start to the game. Brittany was in attendance to watch the win from her suite at Arrowhead Stadium.

The New Year’s Eve party comes after Patrick admitted he was “a little disappointed” that he was unable to celebrate Christmas with his wife and children – Sterling Skye, 2, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 13 months – due to the team’s game against Las Vegas Raiders.

“I mean, everybody’s just going to open presents and put food in them, and then they’re going to be the happiest they can be, and they’re going to tune in and see the Kansas City Chiefs play,” Mahomes told Pro Football Talk last month. “So I’m excited about that.”

However, he added: “I’m a little disappointed that I’ll miss Christmas Eve with my kids and Christmas morning and I’ll miss Santa’s arrival. But then I will be able to spend the evening with them and open their presents. So it will be a great opportunity. I’m excited about it. We will miss the kids a bit, but we will celebrate after the game is over.”
