Brittany Mahomes gives fans her scoop of ice cream orders!
On Thursday, September 19, the retired football player and mother of two, 29 — who is expecting her third child with husband Patrick Mahomes — posted a photo of a bowl of ice cream on her Instagram Stories. She was sitting with her legs apart and sweets in her lap.
“There’s nothing like chocolate ice cream with mint chunks and hard chocolate on top 😂😂,” she wrote alongside a photo of the green and brown serving.
The “hard chocolate” she mentions is also known as chocolate shell. The secret ingredient is coconut oil. Simply melt ⅔ cup of coconut oil together with 2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips. Once the warm topping hits the cold ice cream, it hardens, resulting in a satisfying crunch.

Brittany Mahomes calls Patrick ‘one of the greatest people ever’ as she celebrates his 29th birthday
Brittany and Patrick have been known to express their love for frozen treats on social media.
Back in March, Brittany shared an Instagram Stories photo of her husband sitting on the couch while she held a mini chocolate-dipped ice cream cone in front of her phone’s camera. “Anyone else eat 10 of these a night?” she captioned the image before drawing an arrow next to the NFL player’s face. “Because he does.”
It seems mini cones aren’t the only beck’s treat of choice. His teammate Travis Kelce revealed in his episode New heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast that Patrick actually also has a freezer full of Dippin’ Dots. “I saw them in Pat Mahomes’ garage,” Travis said. “It has a Dippin’ Dots freezer.”
In response, Travis’ brother and now-retired NFL star Jason jokingly asked, “What is he Richie Rich? He just randomly said – does he have a slide in his yard too?”
Patrick himself played along with the gag, sharing the message X (formerly known as Twitter), reading: “I love me some good ole @DippinDots 🤣🤣”

Patrick Mahomes celebrates 29th birthday at Lavish Bash with pregnant wife Brittany: ‘Celebrating our boy’
Team Mahomes had plenty of reasons to bring out the ice cream this month, as the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback celebrated his 29th birthday on Tuesday, September 17th. He spent the day with his two children, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III. , who turns two in November, and daughter Sterling Skye, 3.
Brittany uploaded a post to the carousel with a festive title. “Happy birthday to one of the greatest people ever, my husband, best friend and best dad! We are so grateful to have you! We love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu 🤍”
She threw him a birthday party on Sept. 15 that featured large cookies, fun signs, and personalized mugs and koozies decorated with childhood photos of the quarterback. “We’re celebrating someone’s birthday after the game,” Brittany said as she snapped some of the decor. “And I can’t get over how cute he is.”
