Brittany Mahomes’ son, Bronze, is working hard on a new sport.
On Monday, the Kansas City co-owner, 28, shared a video to her Instagram Story of her 14-month-old son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon playing on the basketball court. In the adorable video, the toddler raises his arm while carrying a mini basketball, a few feet away from the bottom of the net.
“Poor navel knows where the ball is going 😂😂 he just doesn’t know how to get it there 😂😂,” Mahomes wrote over the picture.

Brittany Mahomes Says Daughter Sterling ‘Pays Attention’ to Patrick at Chiefs Games: ‘Very Special’ (Exclusive)
Brittany shares her two children — daughter Sterling Skye, 2½, and son Bronze — with her husband, Kansas City Chiefs running back Patrick Mahomes, also 28.
In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Brittany opened up about taking her kids to their dad’s games.
“I watch them all the time at the games, but it’s special to have them there, cheering on my dad,” she said.
Although Sterling started out shy on match days, the kid is blossoming as he grows up.
“My oldest daughter can finally somehow understand what’s going on and where she is, and she loves watching her dad play soccer. She can see him a kilometer away and pays attention and follows what’s happening with him,” said the proud mom.

“She really enjoys going to the field and seeing him before the game. I think it’s a very special moment wherever I get to bring them to a game and they get to watch their dad play football.”
Brittany noted that Bronze and Sterling’s accomplishments excite them more than the action on the court.
“My daughter is becoming a person, so she can communicate a lot more things than she did in the past, like how she feels. Watching her blossom into a little girl who can express her emotions, things like that have been the sweetest thing in the world.”
As far as bronze is concerned, he manages on the fly. “We’ve been trying to get him to walk for a while now, so he’s getting there. He’s almost there. He’s taken a few steps on his own, but he’s not fully walking yet.”
