Bronny, 19, was spotted cheering on his father and Team USA Basketball at the Bercy Arena in Paris, where the 39-year-old Lakers star scored 12 points and had three rebounds in the United States’ 122-87 quarterfinal victory over Brazil on Tuesday. , August 6.
Bronny, 19, was all smiles in the stands for the game, wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts as he watched LeBron, along with NBA stars Stephen Curry and Devin Booker, secure a place in Thursday’s semifinal against Serbia.
Also in attendance for the quarterfinals was rapper Snoop Dogg, who sat courtside next to WNBA star A’ja Wilson, whose next Olympic match is on Wednesday. Actress Taraji P. Henson and LeBron and Bronny’s agent Rich Paul were also seen at Bercy Arena.

After the game, LeBron told reporters, including PEOPLE, “It’s a blessing and an honor to still be able to compete at this level and represent Team USA,” adding, “especially this late in the game” of his basketball career.
The United States Men’s National Team will next play Serbia, facing NBA MVP Nikola Jokic in the semifinals as both teams hope to play for the gold medal in Paris.

Before Tuesday’s win over Brazil, LeBron was seen with his wife, Savannah, and daughter, Zhuri Nova James, 9, as the trio braved the rain in Paris to cheer on the US women’s beach volleyball team. During a family outing, cameras caught the Lakers superstar dancing, which made Zhura especially annoyed by her dad’s moves.
On June 27, Bronny officially became his father’s teammate when the Lakers selected him in the second round after playing one season for the USC Trojans.
The selection drew criticism from basketball fans who believed Bronny was given the spot due to nepotism, but Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka was quick to dismiss that notion.

“He worked for everything he got, including being picked 55th today,” Pelinka said, according to USA Today.
“He is an incredibly hardworking young man. And these are the qualities we look for in selecting players and adding them to our development core with the Lakers,” added Pelinka. “As far as his work ethic, I think we’ve all seen that live as well. He’s not a person who always takes shortcuts or expects or is entitled to basketball opportunities.”
