Brooke Williams Biography
Brooke Williams was born on January 3, 1984 in Christchurch, New Zealand; Her zodiac sign is Capricorn, and she’s from New Zealand. Brooke made her acting debut as a waitress in the romantic family comedy “Meet Me in Miami” in 2005, and was cast as Erin in the 2007 TV series Kissy Kissy. Brooke went to Auckland and became a member of the Auckland Theater Company, appearing as Julia in their play “Romeo & Juliet”.
In 2010, she played Margot Bramwell in Jason Stutter’s crime comedy Predicament, also starring Jemaine Clement, Heath Franklin and Hayden Frost. The film follows two characters who live in New Zealand in the 1930s and have won six of the twelve Oscars for which the film was nominated. Brooke plays Maria in John Maclean’s hit 2015 action-adventure thriller Slow West, which also stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Cary Pistorius, and Aorere Paki.
The film is about an English man who travels across the United States in search of his true love; The film won seven of the 27 awards for which it was nominated. Brooke also starred in the TV series “Venus and Mars” in 2015.
Brooke’s most recent film appearances are in the 2017 miniseries A Woman’s Right to Shoes, the 2019 miniseries “This Place” and the 2021 miniseries “June; she just wrapped up production on the upcoming romantic comedy “Love Knots”, which is set to premiere in 2022.
