Bruce Springsteen is taking a doctor’s order.
The “Born to Run” singer, 74, has postponed four European dates of his E Street Band 2024 world tour due to “vocal issues”.
A statement shared on Springsteen’s Instagram account read: “After yesterday’s postponement in Marseille due to a vocal problem, further examinations and consultations have led doctors to conclude that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days.”
The note also said that shows for Letnany Airport in Prague, Czech Republic, and San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, scheduled for May 28 and June 1 and 3, have also been postponed.
“New dates for these shows will be announced shortly,” the message added, along with instructions for ticket holders to request a refund at the point of purchase.
“Bruce is recovering comfortably and he and the E Street Band look forward to continuing their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid at the magnificent Civitas Metropolitan,” the statement concluded.
The comments section lit up with fans expressing their well wishes to the rock singer, leaving comments such as: “Rest Bruce, we’ll wait as long as it takes” and “Get well soon boss!”
