Brynn Gingras, who was born and raised in Wallingford, became known for her basketball skills. As one of the best point guards in the country, Gingras finished her playing career as the women’s basketball team’s all-time leading scorer with 1,209 points. She then went on to play for the Yale women’s basketball team for a long time and was elected captain of the Bulldogs during her senior year.

But Gingras had a different personality. As a child she loved to tell stories. She was involved in creating the senior yearbook and school newspaper while a student at Lyman Hall.

Gingras stated: “I have always loved telling stories and I always told them when I was little. “The best way to do that is to work as a journalist. When I was the reporter for our high school’s yearbook and newspaper, I would tell stories.

Since then, he has progressed in his storytelling ambition and currently works for one of the most prestigious cable television news organizations in the world, 20 years after graduating from Lyman Hall. After a series of television news roles following his graduation from Yale.

He currently works as a national correspondent for CNN in New York, covering major breaking news with a focus on the courts.

The purpose of this position, according to Gingras, is “to tell stories on CNN or any television reporter. “I enjoy what I do, and the last 15 years since I graduated from Yale have been fascinating, amazing, and lots of fun. It’s been a fascinating journey and I’m currently doing what I love.” I enjoy reporting from the courtroom. I find coverage of courtrooms in New York and across the country fascinating.

Gingras has worked in four television news roles since graduating from Yale, which prepared her for her current position at CNN. Her first position was as a broadcast associate for CBS News Productions in New York, where she worked primarily producing documentaries for cable channels such as A&E and the History Channel. She then accepted a position as an anchor/reporter at KMIZ, an ABC affiliate television station in Columbia, Missouri (2006-2010). She returned to Connecticut and worked at WVIT (NBC) in Hartford from 2010 to 2012.
