On Sunday, Suga also appeared on Weverse to discuss recruiting. AND fan translation reveals that his time in the military isn’t something his fans will cry about, and will see them again in 2025.

Suga is the third member of BTS to participate in the mandatory military service in South Korea, after Jin and J-Hope. Over the next few years, all seven members of BTS will enlist, and the band is expected to reunite in 2025.

In August, Big Hit Music revealed in a statement released to Weverse that Suga has “initiated the military enlistment process by applying to end his enlistment deferment.

“We ask for your continued love and support for SUGA until he completes his military service and returns safely. Our company will spare no effort in supporting our artist,” the press release said.

After his set, Suga appeared on Weverse Live to send a heartfelt message to ARMY. “I came to say goodbye after my last concert,” he said. He showed off his tattoo after a fan asked about it, but the “Haegeum” artist got emotional about the end of his tour.

“I think I’ve had a fun tour the last few months. I really don’t cry,” he said before reflecting on BTS’ journey. “Those past 10 years passed like in a movie. From then on, I started crying.”

Although Suga appeared to be hinting at delaying his upcoming military service, he did not say so directly. “I think it’s a lie if I say ‘soon,'” he told fans. “See you in 2025, OK? Please wait a moment. See you in 2025!”
