Burger King Adds Savory Pickle Fries to the Menu — and They’re Available Now

In a pickle? Burger King can help.

Burger King has announced a new menu item — fries! Fried Dill Pickles are battered and breaded with savory seasonings and come with Hidden Valley Ranch dressing.

This is Burger King’s latest menu surprise in a year of upsizing, holiday items and contests.

On Nov. 11, Burger King announced that it will offer a million Whoppers for just $1 starting Nov. 12 — a “million-dollar thank you” to BK fans who entered the Million Dollar Whopper Contest and submitted their “dream burger” concepts.

Three “dream hamburgers” made the cut, and on Thursday, November 14, the fast food included them on the menu. Fans then began voting between the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, The Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper, and the Mexican Street Corn Whopper to determine which burger was worth the $1 million prize.

Earlier last month, BK announced a partnership with Hidden Valley Ranch, offering 8-ounce cups of “Big Dip” condiments — a big change from the typical 1-ounce size.

Big Cups were available beginning October 16 at select locations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Houston and San Francisco, and could be paired with any sandwich for free.

And on October 10, the burger joint presented four new ones The Addams Family-themed menu items — Thing’s (onion) Rings, Churro Fries, chocolate milkshake and Whopper with purple buns.

Burger King Pickle Fries are available nationwide in one size while supplies last.
