Burger King — home of the grilled Whopper — is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day in the best possible way.
On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Burger King is offering Royal Perks members a free cheeseburger with any purchase of $1 or more, according to a press release.
The American fast food restaurant has a number of other deals planned for the days before and after National Cheeseburger Day, starting Monday. September 16 to Sunday September 22.
“While a free cheeseburger is always great, Burger King will also be offering Royal Perks deals all week,” the company announced.

So what exactly awaits you in mid-September? Lots of tasty treats for fans of the brand.
On the first day (September 16), consumers can “enjoy a free Whopper Jr. with a purchase of $1” or more. Then, on Tuesday, September 17, they can “grab a free Original Chicken Sandwich,” again with a purchase of $1 or more.
As for the rest of the week, a free four Mozzarella Fries is available on Thursday, September 19, while Friday, September 20 kicks off the weekend with a free Croissan’wich.

Rounding off the weekend, visitors can enjoy a four-pack of fries on Saturday, September 21, while the following day comes a free soft drink of any quantity.
According to Burger King, all of these Royal Perk offers are available with purchases of $1 or more.
The fast-food chain’s latest giveaway comes after the company kicked off the summer — and celebrated 70 years of incredible success — by offering customers a variety of freebies when they spend $0.70 from May 28 to June 3.
BK previously celebrated Daylight Savings Time in March by giving diners an entire week of free breakfast, with each day of the week highlighting a different food or drink theft for reward members. And in April, the chain gave away free Whoppers in honor of the historic total solar eclipse.
