Cadbury ‘relaunch’ Brits’ favourite discontinued choc in a whole new way – & it’s just in time for Easter

CADBURY has relaunched its iconic chocolate – but it might not look the same as you remember it.

Easter has come early for some as a former favorite chocolate treat – Cadbury’s Caramilk – has been restocked in supermarkets just in time for the chocolate feast.

Fanatics were devastated when Nestle’s Caramac bar was discontinued due to poor sales – and struggled to find a suitable dupe to match the treat.

But Cadbury soon came to the rescue with its own Caramilk spin-off, sending customers into a frenzy when they heard the news.

And now, the age-old cocoa company has done it again with the release of the treat in a brand new egg shape, ready for sweet-toothed Brits.

The news was posted on the New Foods UK Facebook group.

On the post they said: “New Cadbury Caramilk Chocolate Easter Egg now available in Tesco.”

Fans jumped straight to the comments section of the post, which is now filled with hundreds of messages from fans sharing their joy at the news.

One commenter said: “They made a great taste now the real one is gone.”

And another said, “I like this chocolate, it has its own unique taste and it’s yum.”

And the third chimed in with: “I need one like this.”

Punters can get their hands on the egg for £3 on Tesco’s website and will be sure to stock up in case it goes off the shelves in the future.

However, health-conscious aficionados who want to watch their calories during the indulgence period may want to take a breath before eating one, as downing the entire treat at once will cost you half of your daily calorie intake.

That’s not the only treat chocolate lovers can look forward to in the coming weeks, after it was announced that a brand new range of orange-flavored Cadbury Mini Eggs will hit stores in time for Easter.

Posted on the same Caramilk egg group, one person commented: “I need at least 100 bags of these.”

Still, it’s worth doing your best not to overindulge in March, as this expert warns Britons of the dangers of over-consumption of chocolate over the Easter period.
