Caitlin Clark always had a competitive string – especially when it came to Candy Halloween!
The WNBA star is known for its fiction on the field, and she will go in detail on the topic with David Letterman as an upcoming guest on Netflix’s My next guest should not be introduced with David LettermanPeople can only discover.
In an exclusive episode clip, which is broadcast on April 8, Clark tells Letterman that when she is a child, she will leave his father in a hurry to get the most sweets.
“When we are cut or treated in the desfeture in the des Moines, I would be like a sweat under the costume because I was in a dead sprint from home to home,” The Indiana Faver Guard explained for 23 years. “I had to have the most sweets. That’s how I acted.”
Clark said her father would not be able to find her as he rushed to collect sweet treats from neighboring houses on Halloween. When she returned home, Mom wasn’t happy.
“My mom would be angry about my father because she is like,” Why did you lose our daughter? Why does she run through the neighborhood herself? “” He remembered Clark. “But that was just because I was trying to beat everything.”

Clark attracted fans for dramatic deep thirds and her historical scoring record. Last year, she was her first season with a fever, in which she claimed the title of the Rookie of the Year. In the same year, her senior season with Iowa Hawkeyes, Clark became the overall scoring leader via NCAA Division 1 men and women’s basketball.
Letterman was not surprised to find out that Clark’s desire to win was a child.

“That covers what I know about you as a human being,” said Letterman, 77, Clarku after sharing that she learned to ride her bike as well as her older brother the first day. She was 3 or 4 years old at the time, she said, and insisted that her parents take off their training wheels to beat her brother.
“It’s a competitive drive that overpowers every little daily phenomenon,” the host of the award -winning Emmy series continued: “Am I right about that?”

“Yes, sometimes that’s good,” Clark said. “Sometimes it’s bad.”
She said her desire to win even played cards on Christmas.
“Then everyone hates me by the end of the night and I’m like, ‘Oh, great. I destroyed Christmas! “” A basketball star joked. “I’m not going to do that this year.”
