How did he and his parents meet?
In 1981, Bill married Margaret Kelly, a talent coordinator on The Tonight Show and The Dick Cavett Show. They have two boys, Luke and Homer, together. Murray was having an affair with Jennifer Butler, whom he met during the filming of the film Scrooged in 1988. In 1996, he divorced after an affair with Butler. Murray married Butler in 1997. The cause of his parent’s divorce
Butler filed for divorce in Charleston County on May 12, 2008, alleging adultery, drug addiction, and abuse. Butler said that she was compelled to relocate to a new residence with children due to his aggressive conduct and addiction. Per the divorce documents, Murray would regularly leave home without notifying Butler and pretend he was abroad but would participate in public and private altercations and sexual liaisons. He was accused of hitting her in the face and telling her she was fortunate he didn’t kill her. Butler was given sole custody of their four children.
Before their marriage in 1997, the pair signed a prenuptial agreement in which Murray agreed to pay Butler $7 million within 60 days of the final divorce.
He was arrested for his misbehavior
Caleb went to a Black Lives Matter demonstration on June 1, 2020, but was detained for misbehaving. He was accused of shattering the vehicle glass and spitting and biting a police officer during the demonstration, according to The Martha’s Vineyard Times. Not only that but he was deemed recalcitrant in the prison after being arrested. He was accused of assaulting deputies and threatening them with a knife. Caleb allegedly threatened to set fire to the house once he was freed.
He was charged with intentional damage of property, a threat to crime, three charges of assault, violence on a police officer, making terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct for his mad behavior and misbehavior.
E! According to the news, Murray’s bail was eventually set at $10,000 and he was no longer in their custody.
Bill Murray responds to allegations of improper conduct
Bill was accused of improper conduct on the set of Aziz Ansari’s Being Mortal, which resulted in the film’s cancellation. Murray explained what occurred to CNBC Television, saying he had a disagreement with a lady who worked on the project with him. He cleared his throat after doing something he felt was amusing.
Murray said they are chatting and attempting to make peace with each other regarding his return to the picture in the midst of the probe. According to him, they are both professionals who appreciate one other’s work, and there is no use in continuing to collaborate or make films if they can’t get along and trust each other.
He also said that he is enthusiastic about making peace with it and putting his boots on and that both of them returning to work and being able to trust each other and work at the talent that they have spent a long time building will make him happy.
