Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford Have a Glam Date Night at Emmys, One Day After He Praised Her in Speech

The couple walked the red carpet together at the Apple TV+ Primetime Emmy Award Party in matching black ensembles

Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford had a glam date together!

On the eve of meeting her again on stage Ally McBeal actress at the 75th Emmy Awards, Flockhart, 59, walked the Emmys red carpet solo wearing a Giorgio Armani Privé gown that paired a sequined blue bodice with a ruffled belt and a black silk maxi skirt trimmed in pink, blue and velvet. Black loafers, Buccellati jewels and a loose wavy bob completed the look.

She was in attendance as part of the cast reunion show, as well as to support her husband Harrison Ford, whose AppleTV+ show Shrinkage was nominated in several categories, but the two did not initially walk the red carpet together.

After her fun dance number on stage, Flockhart joined Ford, 81, on the red carpet at the Apple TV+ Primetime Emmy Awards, where they couldn’t stop laughing.

For the event, Flockhart changed into a black pantsuit and matching black sequined blazer. She completed the look with a navy blue clutch and the same Buccellati earrings she wore to the awards. Her husband wore a classic black tuxedo with a black tie.

The two actors are no newcomers when it comes to a night out at the awards. The couple began dating after meeting at the 59th Golden Globe Awards in 2002; the couple married eight years later, in 2010, after Ford proposed to her on a family vacation the year before.

Before their relationship, Ford was married twice and fathered four children. He later adopted Flockhart’s son, Liam.

“I’m in love,” Ford said of Flockhart in a 2003 interview. “Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there’s potential for it at any stage of your life. It didn’t surprise me that I managed to fall in love, and it didn’t surprise me that I did it.”

Harrison Ford thanked his wife Calista Flockhart in an emotional speech at the Critics Choice Awards: ‘I need a lot of support’

On January 14, Ford was presented with the Critics’ Choice Award for Career Achievement. He accepted the award to a standing ovation from the audience after a video compilation showing some of his greatest film successes was shown.

As part of his acceptance speech, Ford said, “I’m here because of a combination of luck and the work of wonderful writers, directors and filmmakers. I feel incredibly lucky. I’m happy for this honor and I appreciate it very much.”

He also thanked Flockhart for her role in their happy marriage, and the two appeared to tear up as he mentioned their relationship.

“I want to thank my wonderful wife, Calista Flockhart, who supports me when I need a lot of support,” he said. – And I need a lot of support.
