Cameron Green is an Australian cricket all-rounder. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast medium bowler. He came into limelight after taking 5 wickets in the Sheffield Shield match against Zimbabwe. He became the youngest player to do so. In 2023, he was bought by Mumbai Indians, becoming the second most expensive player in the history of IPL (Indian Premier League).

Cameron began playing cricket at the age of 10 for the Subiaco-Floreat Cricket Club in the U-13 Youth League. At the age of 16, he made his debut in first-class cricket in the Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA). The Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) was impressed with his performances and signed him to a rookie contract ahead of the 2016-17 Sheffield Shield season. He played 8 games in the U-19 National League, averaging 20 runs per innings and taking a total of 20 wickets.

In the first innings against Tasmania, he took 5/24 wickets in 8.1 overs and became the youngest player to take 5 wickets in the Sheffield Shield.

He had his big break in the Marsh Sheffield Shield 2019-20 season, recording figures of 87/167 at No. 2. Game 8 and 121/172. 9 against Queensland. Earlier, he was known as a bowling all-rounder but through these innings, he established his reputation with the batting as well.
