Camila Cabello Teases Her Summer-Themed C,XOXO Album with Self-Narrated Trailer: 'For: You, From: C'

Camila Cabello is ready to release her upcoming album, C, XOXO.

After revealing the album title, cover art and release date, the “Havana” singer, 27, gifted fans with a trailer she narrated on Thursday, May 9, writing on her social media, “for: you, from: c, xoxo 💌 .” Visually, she illuminates the album’s carefree summer theme against the backdrop of her hometown in Miami.

“She likes to drive with the windows down so she can hear what the city is saying at night,” Cabello begins the two-minute teaser. “She likes his broken English; his comprehensive musical taste.”

The Grammy-nominated “Oh Na Na” artist goes on to detail what she appreciates most about her city’s night scene, saying, “She loves seeing the neon colors of the Caribbean against the backdrop of Teslas and skyscrapers in the first world, the Caribbean, Tokyo. ”

“They always said the city would be under water by now – again, that’s what they said about her,” she added, seemingly referring to those who doubted her success. “I guess they’ve both learned to swim.”

The Fifth Harmony alum then delves into her plans for summer in Miami, warning people not to be “so afraid of bodies, curves and skin” that will be on full display because the city is “too hot for jeans” and powder that “will just dissolve.”

“Let’s talk because what’s the difference? We’re flying too close to the sun anyway,” Cabello continues. “The sun is our only constant lover, the way it kisses our skin and hair. No wonder we feel so beautiful.”

The singer concludes the clip by saying that even though she takes trips “to LA and New York and s—, when it all adds up, you can hear her screaming, ‘305 ’til I die, bitch.’

C, XOXO is Cabello’s fourth studio album, after 2018 Camilain 2019 Romance and in 2022 Family. The trailer for the LP comes just over a month after his first single, “I Luv It” featuring Playboi Carti, was released on March 27, marking a new sound and era for the “Señorita” singer.

The “Shameless” artist performed the new track for the first time at Coachella in April during Lana Del Rey’s headlining set on the second weekend.

Next up, she’ll release her new single, “He Knows,” featuring Lil Nas X, on Friday, May 10. Two days prior, the singer announced the song’s arrival via social media, teasing potential lyrics like, “SHE’S PROVOCATOR, DANCE FLOOR KNOWLEDGE 💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼💅🏼.”

C, XOXO the deadline is June 28.
