One of the most ridiculous franchises of the last 20 years is captain underpants. Two boys named Harold and George create their own comics and then end up accidentally hypnotizing their own principal into becoming the superheroes they created. But there can be no heroes without villains.
The simple reality is that even Captain Underpants has enemies. Their plans may be ridiculous, but they’re just as evil and just as dangerous. Anyone who is willing to go against someone like the captain is not someone to be taken lightly. But some of these villains are more powerful than others, causing a lot of problems for the brave hero.
Captain Blunderpants is an evil doppelgänger
Sometimes the most dangerous villains are the heroes’ evil counterparts. Superman does encounter this a few times thanks to villains like Bizarro and Ultraman.
As far as “Captain Underpants” goes, he has “Captain Wrong Pants,” which is an ominous name to say the least. Coming from the Purple Potty universe, he’s a really, really annoying guy. But when he transforms into Mr. Krupp, he’s actually quite pleasant.
Professor Pippi is a Machiavellian genius
Tippy Tinkletrousers is a brilliant scientist from New Switzerland and an early thorn in Captain Underpants’ side. He started out as a teacher, then became Professor Poopy when he was driven crazy by Harold and George’s cartoons about him.
In the comics, Tippi is a goofy villain who eventually becomes more helpful once he gets vengeance out of his system. In the movie, he’s more like a murderer who should spend the rest of his life in prison.
Poopacabra is not as disgusting as it sounds
The villain takes his name from the Chupacabra, a mythical Mexican beast. It also conjures up some extremely vulgar images when combined with the word “poop.” Fortunately, this is not the case.
Popacabra started out as an ordinary rodent named Ratrick, but ended up being doused with radioactive mud and sewer water. This transforms him into the terrifying Popacabra, who is hell-bent on revenge on Harold and George.
Socktopus is exactly what it sounds like
People often wonder what happened to those lost socks that they can’t seem to get back from the dryer.Hopefully they were just stolen by something similar South Parkpanty gnome instead of what happened captain underpants.
The Sockclaw is a giant sock-based monster that brings nothing but destruction and mayhem. Despite looking like an adorable sock puppet, the beast certainly poses a challenge to the story’s plucky heroes.
The zombie queen commands an army of drones
Not only is the Zombie Queen a bad pun, but she’s also a dangerous villain for Captain Underpants to face. Like many of his enemies, the man started out as a teacher at Harold and George’s school. In this case, she was a fourth grade teacher named Ms. Ribble.
After taking an overdose of bee DNA, Ms. Ribble was transformed into a zombie queen. With the exception of Harold and George, everyone else in the school was transformed into mindless drones by the tainted honey.
Dandelions of Doom Look Like Audrey II’s Cousin
When most people get their hands on some mysterious growth serum belonging to aliens, they treat it with great caution. Well, most people are not Harold and George. They threw their stuff out the window and created the Doomsday Dandelion.
To their credit, the boys try to dispose of it in order to thwart the aliens’ evil plans. But there has to be a better way than throwing it out the window. They accidentally trigger a greater threat.
Captain Pendenault is a better evil doppelgänger
While Captain Underpants is to Captain Underpants what Ultraman is to Superman, Captain Pendenault is probably better than Bizarro. This is mostly due to his blue hue and desire to do evil.
Like Big Pants, Pendenault is evil through and through and dedicated to doing what he believes to be evil. Sometimes these evil deeds are just inconvenient and annoying, but effective nonetheless.
Fort Melvern creates problems through time and space
Melvin Snedley is the smartest boy in school and a thorn in Harold and George’s side. He’s not outright evil, but he’s a snitch and the teacher’s pet. These are not always the best qualities of a classmate.
At one point, Melvin’s evil cyborg version of Melvin Castle traveled back in time and caused his version of destruction. While he was eventually defeated and erased from existence by his younger self, that didn’t change what Machiavellian Fort Melvin actually looked like.
Nanobots are a little crazy
If there’s one person who shouldn’t be exposed to microbots of any kind, it’s Fort Melvin. These specific nanobots were used as weapons by Fort Mellivan, but they were a specific type of threat in their own right.
Under the control of Fort Mellivan, they performed well. But once they loosen up, they’re perfectly capable of making everyone’s life extremely difficult. It’s not surprising to see these evil little artificial life forms making a comeback.
Turbo Toilet 2000, the leader in talking toilets
No superhero wants to fight a giant talking toilet. It doesn’t matter who the superheroes are or what universe they operate in. This is almost a hard and fast rule across the board.
Unfortunately for Captain Underpants, this has happened more than once. The Turbo Toilet 2000 is strong, fast, powerful and durable. If that’s not enough, he also has a bunch of talking toilets like him.
