Cardi B is getting animated for Halloween 2024!
On Thursday, October 31, the Grammy winner stepped out at Doux Supper Club in New York City, where she attended a Halloween party dressed as the iconic Jessica Rabbit from 1988. Who placed Roger Rabbit.
The 32-year-old MC first debuted the red and purple bombshell look on her Instagram Story, where she danced in front of a mirror wearing a sleek red dress, long purple gloves, red lips, purple eyeshadow and some diamonds dangling from her ears to complete her outing as beloved crun.
She also opted for some red curls to match the character’s hairstyle, as her overall look was reminiscent of the same sultry ensemble Jessica Rabbit wore while performing “Why Don’t You Do Right” in the classic film.

The party itself, according to a flyer shared on Cardi’s Instagram Story, was organized by her sister Hennessy and friend Tstyles.
While there, Cardi captured a few additional Instagram Story clips as she sang songs at the club and hung out with her sister. In photos from the event, she could also be seen smiling in her Jessica Rabbit cut and posing for photos while showing off a shiny jewel under her eye.

Jessica Rabbit first appeared in the 1981 novel Who Censored Roger Rabbit and the subsequent film, Who placed Roger Rabbitdirected by Robert Zemeckis. In the years since, the character has become something of a Halloween phenomenon – with the likes of Mariah Carey and Heidi Klum masquerading as her for the spooky occasion.
Carey rocked her Jessica Rabbit costume in 2023, when she wore a sparkly red dress, a bright red wig, some elbow-length gloves and sparkly red heels. And Klum famously took on the character at her 2015 Halloween party.

Cardi B’s previous Halloween looks included matching witch costumes with Kulture’s daughter Kiari, revealing a Poison Ivy costume and Marge Simpson’s yellow-dyed cut.
This year, however, Cardi is also the subject of someone’s Halloween look. Sherri Shepherd came out in the Halloween episode Sherri this week, channeling four fashion-forward outfits from past Met Galas — including ones worn by Cardi, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and Tyla.
For Cardi’s costume, Shepherd channeled her epic dress from the 2019 Met Gala, which stylist Willie Sinclair III told PEOPLE took “over 200 hours of sewing” and was envisioned by designer Todd Fisher.
“I think the magnificence of Cardi B was the perfect ending,” Shepherd said. “Since the entire stream was in the red, you couldn’t win.”

“It had to elevate everything and also be fun,” Shepherd also said. “You know, I grew up watching talk shows, and I always loved Halloween shows and seeing what people were wearing. So I knew that if I had my own show, I wanted to go ahead and make it big. I want people to say, ‘What will Sherri work?’ I wanted it to be big so they never forget.”

“Wowwwww so cool,” Cardi said.
