Carol Kirkwood absent from BBC Breakfast amid exciting career news

BBC Breakfast looked a little different on Tuesday morning when viewers found Carol Kirkwood absent from the show.

The popular weather host usually provides updates during the show, but has instead been replaced by Matt Taylor, who often provides forecasts during the weekend show.

Carol’s absence comes during an exciting period in her career when she will be taking on a new challenge from the show.
