Idol is reportedly in discussions to portray Jin Seo-won, the male lead in the live-action version of the popular Naver webtoon A Good Day to be a Dog. The 10-episode comic, created by Lee Hey, ended on June 27, 2018. The revelation that the idol-actor will play the role of a heartthrob in the upcoming program caused a lot of excitement, especially among the original fans of the webtoon. This rom-com will be different from his past efforts as it has a special spin. Fans of the idol will undoubtedly love to see him in such a scenario.

Cha Eun-woo has been cast as the main character in the webtoon version of Good Day to Be a Dog, according to South Korean news portal TV Daily on August 15. Reacting to the news, a source from his agency, Fantagio, said no such confirmation has yet been made. The celebrity is now evaluating many projects, one of them being an adaptation of a Naver webtoon.
Although official confirmation may take some time, it won’t be a surprise if the singer approves of the project. He gained international recognition for his portrayals of the boy next door and romantic protagonist in numerous Korean dramas. True Beauty, My ID is Gangnam Beauty and Goo Hae-ryung’s Rookie Historian are all popular rom-coms in recent years. In 2018, Lee Hey produced the webtoon A Good Day to be a Dog, which contains elements of romance and humor as well as a bit of fantasy. Hana Han, the female protagonist, is a teacher who, despite her professional success, fails to satisfy her personal aspirations. She is cursed by her ancestor to turn into a dog every midnight if she kisses a man. Although he transforms back into a human the next morning, the transformation bond is broken when he kisses the same person as a dog.
Because the curse is such a hindrance, none of her love affairs have survived. One day he has an accident when he kisses Jin Seo-won while she was drunk.
