Chaitanya committed suicide on April 30, 2023, at the Club Hotel in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. He hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his room. Before committing suicide, he uploaded a 1 minute and 27 seconds video on his social media account. He said in the video,
My mom, dad and sister took good care of me and made sure I didn’t have any problems. My sincere apologies to all my friends. I apologize to everyone for disturbing a lot of people. I lost my kindness when it came to money matters. Not just a loan, but the ability to repay the loan. But I can’t. Currently, I am in Nellore and this is my last day. I can’t afford loan related problems. “
