Chandrakala Mohan is an Indian actress who works primarily in the Kannada television industry. She is best known for her role as “Ajjamma” in the Kannada television serial Putta Gowri Maduve (2012).

Chandrakala started her career as a television actress in 1995. Since then, she has acted in more than 300 television serials, playing a variety of roles. In 2012, she became a well-known name in the Kannada television industry when she played the role of “Ajjamma” in the Kannada television serial “Putta Gowri Maduve”. Despite her young age, she played an elderly grandmother in the serial and her acting was outstanding, which won her many awards.
She has acted in the Kannada television series Moodala Mane (2003), Krishna Rukmini (2011), Shree (2018) and Kusumanjali (2019).
Some of her hit films include Naa Rani Nee Maharani (2010), Bhaktha Shankara (2012), Aantharya (2013), Chandrika (2015), Pilibail Yamunakka (2016), Abhisaarike (2018) and Udumba (2019).
In 2017, she participated in the celebrity kabaddi show “Sooper Kabaddi”. The show was first aired on Udaya TV on January 21, 2017. Chandrakala has also appeared in television commercials for brands like Big Bazar.
In 2021, she participated in the reality TV game show Bigg Boss Kannada 8.

- Speaking about her married life on a talk show, Chandrakala said that initially, she did not respond to her children’s emotions as she could not understand them. However, as she grew older, things started to get better. She also added that she started taking on family responsibilities when she was 21.
- In an interview, Chandrakala revealed that her husband has always been supportive of her decisions in life.
