Chandrayaan-3 Quiz: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked students to create individual accounts on the official portal: isroquiz.mygov.in to participate in the Chandrayaan-3Maha Quiz. The UGC has encouraged higher education institutions to promote the Chandrayaan Quiz widely.

They requested that the details of the “Apna Chandrayaan” portal be displayed on notice boards, internal magazines, official websites and social media accounts of institutions. The quiz was launched to stimulate curiosity among students about India’s first successful moon exploration mission.

How to participate in Chandrayaan-3 quiz?

To participate in the Chandrayaan-3 quiz, students must visit the official website: isroquiz.mygov.in. Furthermore, they need to create an individual account by clicking on – participate now and fill in the necessary information. The UGC has asked all universities and colleges to encourage students to actively engage and enhance their knowledge about the country’s lunar mission. After attempting to solve the quiz, all participants will receive a certificate of participation, and cash prizes are also provided.

Chandrayaan portal launched

Ministry of Education and NCERT have recently introduced the Apna Chandrayaan portal at bharatonthemoon.ncert.gov.in. This platform offers specialized course modules dedicated to Chandrayaan. Recognizing the key role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in creating, enhancing and disseminating knowledge, they are kindly encouraged to actively promote the portal and its specially designed courses, with the aim of providing engaging and interactive access to information about the Chandrayaan mission.

UGC launches WhatsApp channel for updates and notifications

UGC has launched a WhatsApp channel with the aim of fostering a more inclusive and better informed higher education environment. The regulatory body emphasized that this launch represents a modernization of its communication approach, enabling stakeholders to access higher education information in real time.
