Charanjeet Kaur Sidhu started her political career in 2018; when she contested the Punjab Gram Pracharyat elections in Musa village in Mansa district of Punjab. She contested the election with the support of the Indian National Congress (INC). Charanjeet Kaur won the election and defeated his opponent from Akali Dal by a margin of 702 votes. A central agenda of her campaign was to combat rampant drug and alcohol abuse in the village of Moussa.
