Venkatesh Bhat was born on Monday, September 15, 1980 (41 years old in 2021) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. His zodiac sign is Virgo. He studied at Sir M Venkatasubba Rao High School in Chennai. Corporate Career

Venkatesh joined Chola Sheraton Hotel (now My Fortune), Chennai as a chef in 1994. He worked there for two years and then joined Taj Coromandel, Chennai as a management trainee in hotel operations and kitchen management.

Later, he was promoted to sous chef in 1998. In 2001, he worked as executive sous chef at The Leela Palace in Bangalore and in 2004, he was promoted to corporate chef. Bhat worked there till 2006, when he resigned. In 2007, Bhat founded Billionsmiles Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., which owns restaurants such as South Indies, Up South and Bon South. In 2012, he joined the Accord Metropolitan and currently (as of 2021) serves as the CEO of the hotel. He is also the CEO of the Accord Pondicherry and Highlands in Ooty. In addition to being the CEO, Venkatesh also works as a chef at the Royal Indianaa restaurant in Chennai.
