Cheryl Hines and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. they were seen together for the first time after the alleged “personal relationship” of the former presidential candidate with New York magazine journalist Olivia Nuzzi.
Hines, 59, and Kennedy, 70, were spotted in Malibu, California on Saturday, October 5, in photos posted by Page Six.
The actress was sitting in the passenger seat of the car next to Kennedy, who was in the driver’s seat. The couple stopped at a Starbucks in the area, according to the outlet.
Hines was also photographed stepping out in a navy T-shirt, jeans and black sunglasses – sans wedding ring.

The outing between the two came after Hines returned to the US after spending time in Europe following news of Kennedy’s alleged affair with Nuzzi, 31.
New York magazine revealed the news in a Sept. 19 statement, while the publication announced that its Washington correspondent Nuzzi had been placed on leave after she “confessed to magazine editors” that she had “engaged in a personal relationship with a former subject relevant to the 2024 campaign.”
Nuzzi later said in a statement shared with PEOPLE that “the nature of some of the communication” between her and the “former subject of the report became personal,” though she added that she “did not directly report on the subject or use them as a source” during that time.
A source previously told PEOPLE that Hines and Kennedy “barely spoke” after news of his alleged affair broke.[Hines] is embarrassed to have been caught,” the insider said.

The couple’s appearance comes after news broke of Kennedy’s alleged “personal relationship” with journalist Olivia Nuzzi on September 19.

While in Europe, Hines was busy attending several shows during Paris and Milan Fashion Week with her daughter Catherine Young. The actress also cheered on Kennedy’s daughter Kyra at the Gucci show where she walked.
Hines celebrated her birthday on September 21. In a post she shared on her Instagram Stories about her birthday celebrations with Catherine, 20, and Kyra, 29, she wrote, “Me and my girls.”
Hines has not publicly addressed her husband’s alleged extramarital affair.
