It may be in the middle of a strike, but the One Chicago family is still a family. The stars of the Dick Wolf-created franchise reunited under one roof Thursday night to raise awareness for an important cause.
Chicago FireJoe Minoso and Kara Killmer, Chicago police‘s Marina Squerciati and Patrick John Flueger and ex Chicago Med Stars Torrey DeVitto and Nick Gehlfuss were among those who gathered at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago to view the Blue Paradox, an immersive pop-up exhibit that takes visitors below the surface of the ocean to explore the impact of plastic pollution on the planet’s largest ecosystem. The exhibition is presented by SC Johnson in cooperation with Conservation International.
DeVitto, 39, who played Dr. Natalie Manning from 2015 to 2021, posted several photos from the show’s group research Thursday night on Instagram.

“Feeling inspired after visiting #TheBlueParadox in @msichicago last night!” she wrote in the description. “Let’s reduce our plastic footprint, together. This immersive and educational exhibit created by @scj in partnership with @conservationorg needs to be seen to be believed!”
Most of the cast in attendance on Thursday are members of the original cast of the One Chicago universe. Minoso played veteran firefighter Joe Cruz Fire since the series premiere in 2012; Squerciati and Flueger played police officers Kim Burgess and Adam Ruzek PD since its premiere in 2014, Killmer played beloved paramedic Sylvie Brett on Fire since 2014
DeVitto is gone Honey 2021, but returned for Gehlfuss’ final episode as Dr. Will Halstead earlier this year.
This wasn’t the cast members’ first reunion since the show’s season finale in May: DeVitto, Squirciati and Honey Alum Yaya DaCosta was photographed together at New York Fashion Week last month.

The showrunners and scriptwriters of the series in Chicago returned to work at the beginning of October.
All three shows have been renewed and are expected to return to NBC following the SAG/AFTRA strike. In the meantime, they can be streamed on Peacock.
