Chiefs' Chris Jones Needed ‘Extra Material’ for Real Full Monty Thong Because ‘the Man Is Massive,' Anthony Anderson Says

Anthony Anderson shared a hilarious fun fact about Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Chris Jones — and the thong the NFL player wears in an upcoming Fox special, The real Full Monty.

In the episode of November 27 Living with Kelly and Mark, Anderson — who promised that he and his co-stars will “strip down to their bare bones in front of a live audience” when the two-hour special airs on December 9 — revealed that Jones, 30, is so “massive” that the wardrobe team had to make special alterations to his thongs.

“I think they had to bring in extra material or some kind of weird material for his thong. I mean, the man is massive. He’s massive,” Anderson, 54, told hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

Jokingly clarifying his description of a “massive” Jones, Anderson said: “I mean massive in height and weight, that’s what I’m talking about. Take your mind off it.”

The event is inspired by the 1997 Oscar-nominated film The full MontyAnderson will also executive produce. James Van Der Beek, Taye Diggs, Tyler Posey and longtime Dancing with the stars judge Bruno Tonioli also stars.

The long-awaited striptease was choreographed by Mandy Moore. “[Moore] it was hard for her to put up with the six of us,” Anderson joked on the show, teasing that when “the first beat of the music plays and we’re on stage and the lights come on, we’re twinkling and shaking. ”

“Until the final strip, the men will push their boundaries of comfort, modesty and brotherhood through a series of trials and experiences, private and public, designed to build trust and push them far from their comfort zones and strengthen their bond as a group,” the network said.

Anderson told Ripa, 54, and Consuelos, 53, that while the strip draws attention from audiences, the real message behind the televised special is to “raise awareness of male cancer so men can go to the doctor and get evaluated for testicular, colon and pancreatic cancer.”

“It’s a great way to raise awareness,” Ripa joked, before Anderson added, “Yeah, just strip down naked and put them on your face.”
